At the Lakm? Fashion Week x FDCI 2025, fashion designer Namrata Joshipura unveiled an innovative athleisure collection in collaboration with Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL), featuring their new R|Elan fabric 2.0 with Kooltex technology. This event took place as part of the annual fashion week, which has become a prominent platform for showcasing new fashion trends and designs.

The collection designed by Joshipura highlights a contemporary athleisure and streetwear aesthetic, comprising garments such as sculpted bodysuits, statement puffer jackets, high-impact singlets, shorts, and elevated tees. The use of Kooltex fabric offers several advanced features, including rapid moisture-wicking capabilities, a soft texture, and the incorporation of GreenGold material sourced from 100 percent recycled PET bottles. This innovation is designed to enhance the wearer’s comfort while maintaining a stylish appearance, enabling the clothing to keep cool and dry during physical activities.

In a statement reflecting RIL’s overarching vision for the future of fashion, Hemant D. Sharma, President of Polyester at RIL, noted the company’s dedication to sustainability. He remarked on the goal to ‘revolutionize’ fashion through the development of cutting-edge textile solutions. The merging of Joshipura’s design expertise with RIL’s innovative fabric technology signifies a notable trend in the fashion industry towards sustainability and performance-oriented clothing.

Overall, the presentation of this athleisure collection not only highlights the latest in fabric technology but also positions both Namrata Joshipura and Reliance Industries as forward-thinking stakeholders in the evolving landscape of fashion.
