Los Angeles: Vestiaire Collective announces a charity closet sale featuring nearly 100 items from Paris Hilton’s personal collection, with proceeds benefiting her nonprofit for wildfire relief efforts. Items range from iconic fashion pieces to designer donations, supporting vulnerable youth and wildfire recovery initiatives.
Vestiaire Collective, a prominent online platform for pre-loved luxury fashion, has announced a charity closet sale featuring items from Paris Hilton’s personal collection. The sale, which will benefit Hilton’s nonprofit organisation, 11:11 Media Impact, aims to support relief efforts for those affected by recent wildfires in Los Angeles.
The sale will offer nearly 100 pieces that reflect Hilton’s iconic style, including signature items such as a Juicy Couture velour tracksuit, custom slogan T-shirts, and a vintage Takashi Murakami x Louis Vuitton bag. Prices for the items range between $75 and $2,250, and they will be available for purchase globally. Notably, the luxury fashion brand Max Mara has contributed by donating a topcoat, while designer Pamella Roland has provided an evening dress.
Hilton expressed her intention for this sale in a recent statement, saying, “I’ve always embraced taking risks and having fun with fashion… This sale will support my charity’s work around relief efforts for the devastating LA fires and our ongoing mission to protect vulnerable youth from child abuse.” She emphasised her commitment to utilising her platform for charitable causes, particularly in the wake of events that have deeply affected her community.
11:11 Media Impact, founded by Hilton, focuses on protecting children from institutional abuse and has been actively involved in California wildfire recovery efforts. Proceeds from the sale will go towards providing financial assistance for families impacted by the fires and essential everyday items.
Fanny Moizant, Co-founder and President of Vestiaire Collective, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating, “Paris is a true icon, inspiring us not only with her bold style, but also with her courage to share her personal story to spark change.” This partnership also aligns with Vestiaire Collective’s commitment to promoting sustainability in fashion.
The move forms part of Vestiaire Collective’s growth strategy in the United States, where it has established itself as the largest pre-loved luxury fashion market. It marks a continuation of the company’s previous celebrity collaborations, which have included a variety of well-known figures, further solidifying its place as a leading platform in the luxury resale market.
