The actress makes a stylish statement at the grand opening cocktail party for Printemps while discussing her experiences filming ‘The White Lotus’ in Thailand.

Parker Posey was a standout presence at the grand opening cocktail party for Printemps in New York on Thursday night. The 56-year-old actress donned a striking gold button-up dress made from shimmering silk, complemented by a matching belt that accentuated her waist. To add opulence to her ensemble, she elegantly draped a cream fur coat over her shoulders and opted for green bejeweled heels, drawing attention as she arrived.

Posey accessorized with a small white leather handbag, simple gold earrings, and an array of diamond rings, enhancing her luxurious appearance. Her hair was styled in neat curls, and she showcased a full face of radiant makeup, highlighted by a bold red lip, contributing to her glamorous appearance at the event.

This appearance coincides with Posey’s recent acclaim for her role in the current season of the HBO series “The White Lotus.” In the show, she portrays Victoria Ratliff, a wealthy matriarch from North Carolina. Her character is depicted alongside her on-screen husband, Timothy, played by Jason Isaacs, and their children, played by Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola.

Her experience on the set of “The White Lotus,” which was filmed in Thailand, has been noteworthy. In a recent conversation with The Times, Posey shared that the cast frequently encountered health issues while filming, particularly due to dietary challenges. “There was a piece of fish that left me and Sam Nivola, who plays my youngest son, on a few weeks of plain rice and pasta with the D-word and constipation alternating,” she recounted.

Despite these challenges, Posey praised the quality of medical care in Thailand, noting the absence of wait times for doctor visits and the availability of various treatments, including cosmetic procedures. “Thai hospitals were so nice, you could do everything there… you could get Botox and medicine easily,” she said, expressing surprise at how much they enjoyed the experience.

Throughout the filming, Posey emphasized the stresses of the shoot but also highlighted the importance of self-care. She learned to appreciate the local wellness practices, including massages, reiki, and sound baths, during her extended stay, which provided her with valuable insights and a greater understanding of personal health.

As she reflected on her time preparing for her role in “The White Lotus,” Posey expressed her excitement to be part of such a celebrated project. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she previously mentioned the anticipation surrounding the opportunity and her six-month commitment to filming in Thailand. “I had a really big day. I had my passport renewed because I’m going to White Lotus!” she gushed, hinting at her enthusiasm for the production.

Parker Posey’s glamorous appearance at the Printemps event aligns with her flourishing career and commitment to her craft, making it a notable moment in a week filled with professional achievements.
