Designer Patricia Nash marks her brand’s 15th anniversary at the grand opening of Von Maur’s new Fargo store, celebrating community and craftsmanship.
Patricia Nash, the founder and designer of Patricia Nash Designs, made a special appearance over the weekend to celebrate the grand opening of Von Maur’s new store in Fargo, North Dakota. This marks Von Maur’s 34th location, adding to its growing presence across the country.
Since the launch of her brand in 2010, Nash has gained a loyal following with her vintage-inspired leather handbags, which are characterized by a blend of elegance and practicality. During the event, she interacted with customers, signing bags and sharing the stories behind her designs. This occasion was particularly significant as Nash also commemorated the 15th anniversary of her brand alongside Von Maur’s new store opening.
“Coming back to North Dakota always feels special to me – it’s where so much of my family is,” Nash said. “Being here for the opening of Von Maur’s gorgeous new store is a real joy… Connecting with the women who carry our bags reminds me exactly why I started this brand. It’s always been about creating pieces that connect us through shared moments and memories.”
In addition to her personal interactions, the event included a giveaway of the Santorini Specialty Woven Satchel, a popular item priced at $299. This satchel, made from paper straw with leather trim, is designed to be versatile, allowing users to adjust its shape and form to suit different occasions – a feature that embodies Nash’s philosophy of blending stylish design with functional utility.
With her brand reaching the milestone of 15 years, Nash remains focused on crafting bags that not only tell stories but also capture shared memories, reinforcing connections among individuals. The Fargo event exemplified this commitment, highlighting the intersection of community and craftsmanship in her work.
