Piaget reveals its latest offerings in the luxury watch market, blending classic design elements with modern innovations at Watches and Wonders Geneva.

Piaget, renowned for its exquisite jewelry, has been steadily gaining recognition in the luxury watch industry, particularly since the introduction of its ultra-thin watch movement in 1957. The brand continues to be a key player in both ultra-thin timepieces and high jewelry watches. The unveiling of their 2025 collection at Watches and Wonders Geneva showcased a significant harkening back to their design heritage from the 1960s and 1970s, with a series of new releases that notably appeal to both watch enthusiasts and collectors.

Among the standout releases for 2025 is the Polo 1979 in white gold, representing the brand’s ongoing commitment to revisiting historical designs. This model is a subtler counterpart to the yellow gold reissue launched in 2024. The white gold Polo 79 features a 38mm case, an integrated bracelet, and the distinctive gadroons that create a contrast against the brushed surfaces of the watch. The entire case and bracelet are crafted from 18-karat gold, complemented by a sapphire caseback that showcases the meticulously finished 1200P1 automatic movement.

Another intriguing addition to the collection is the Andy Warhol Tiger’s Eye watch, themed after the iconic pop artist who was a known admirer of Piaget watches. In 2025, this model features a striking tiger’s eye dial, adding to the previously available options of malachite and meteorite. The watch maintains a minimalist aesthetic, highlighting its unique case shape and the gem’s natural design. Piaget offers the Andy Warhol in rose gold or white gold, with prices starting at $51,000.

The introduction of the Sixtie adds a modern twist to Piaget’s ladies’ watch offerings. Inspired by one of their famous long necklace watches from the 1960s, the Sixtie comes in three styles: stainless steel, 4N pink gold, and a two-tone variant. Notably, it has a rounded-trapezoidal case and an optional diamond-set bezel. The watch features a satin-brushed silver dial and is powered by a quartz movement, emphasizing the brand’s ability to innovate within the ladies’ luxury segment.

Piaget also introduced the Rainbow Aura, a vibrant representation of rainbow luxury watches, featuring a complex arrangement of baguette-cut sapphires and diamonds set in white gold. This model distinguishes itself in a market flooded with colorful timepieces by its meticulous craftsmanship and the use of higher-end gemstones.

In addition to these collections, Piaget unveiled two new versions of their high jewelry Hidden Treasures cuff watches, which feature distinctive designs utilizing opal and enamel dials. The 2025 collection also highlights the Swinging Sautoirs models, now available with new stone-dial options including turquoise and ruby-root.

What sets the brand apart this year is the introduction of the Polo Flying Tourbillon Moonphase, which came to market in February. This sophisticated piece combines an astronomical moonphase complication with a flying tourbillon in a 44mm titanium case that is only 9.8mm thick. The meticulous craftsmanship is evident in the openworked blue gadrooned dial, and this piece is priced at $99,000.

Though Piaget may not share the same level of mass-market exposure as some luxury watch brands focused on sports models, their craftsmanship, design heritage, and commitment to quality continue to attract attention among discerning collectors and enthusiasts in the luxury watch space. The 2025 releases reinforce Piaget’s position as a brand to watch in the high-end segment.
