Hayley Lynch and Sarah Lichter mark a significant milestone for their fashion brand, Rebellious Rose, with a vibrant launch event at The Tan Bank in Westhoughton.

Hayley Lynch, 40, and Sarah Lichter, 32, celebrated the official launch of their fashion brand, Rebellious Rose, at a new location on Market Street in Westhoughton on Saturday, March 29. The business, which the duo started in 2018, has made a notable shift from operating at the Westhoughton Market to opening its doors at The Tan Bank, marking a significant milestone in their entrepreneurial journey.

The launch event attracted a crowd from the local community, featuring free drinks, shopping vouchers, and pop-up shops offered by thirteen independent local businesses. Attendees enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere, highlighting the sense of community surrounding Rebellious Rose and its growth. Sarah expressed her gratitude, stating, “We are both really overwhelmed by the amazing support we’ve had, it has been absolutely amazing. We couldn’t be more grateful for the family, friends and customers who have turned up today.” In addition, she acknowledged the owner of The Tan Bank, Olivia, for hosting their launch.

The fashion brand is especially recognized for its inclusivity, catering to a wide range of women’s sizes from 8 to 26. Hayley noted the positive reception from shoppers, sharing, “The response to the clothes this afternoon has been great. People are really pleased to see that we stock a variety of styles that cater to all shapes and sizes; no one has left here without picking up something.”

The launch event also included participation from local businesses, such as MNB Creative and Rishi’s Café, which played a significant role in supporting Lynch and Lichter as they set up their business. Rishi, the owner of the café, shared his support for the brand, stating, “I have come today to support Sarah and Hayley with their business; they’re two hard-working people who have focused on making their business the best it can be. It’s great to see local businesses setting up in Westhoughton.”

Amidst the celebrations, Hayley reflected on the emotional significance of the day, as it coincides with the five-year anniversary of their venture. She remarked, “We’re back and stronger than ever. It’s extremely emotional but we’re so proud of how far we’ve come. The day we move into The Tan Bank will mark our five-year anniversary doing this. We’re so excited to keep on with this journey and give it our all.”

With the successful launch of their new store location, Rebellious Rose is poised for continued growth, maintaining its operational presence at both the new site and their original Westhoughton address.
