Renata Kuerten reignites her partnership with Carrano, showcasing bold footwear designs against the historic backdrop of São Paulo’s Casarão Higienópolis.

Renata Kuerten has made a notable return to Carrano as the face of the brand’s pre-fall 2025 campaign, showcasing her undeniable impact within the fashion industry. Renowned as one of Brazil’s most iconic models, Kuerten’s career has spanned prestigious runway shows and major advertising campaigns, establishing her as a prominent figure in global fashion.

Her partnership with Carrano, which began in 2017, has been characterized by its longevity and continued relevance. After a successful autumn campaign in 2019, Kuerten’s return marks a significant moment six years later, allowing her to bring a fresh interpretation to the brand’s evolving identity. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Kuerten said, “I’ve always felt a strong connection to Carrano, and I’m thrilled to be part of this next chapter.”

For the upcoming autumn season, Carrano focuses on bold footwear options. The collection features chunky heels, metallic finishes, and animal prints prominently displayed in loafers and combat boots—styles designed for those who prefer their footwear to make a statement. Meanwhile, classic options like pumps and sandals have been reimagined in rich brown and burgundy tones, straying from the typical neutral palette.

The campaign’s visual aesthetic, set against the historical backdrop of the Casarão Higienópolis in São Paulo, speaks to a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. Styled by Márcio Vicentini and photographed by Alexandre Furcolin, the imagery incorporates elements such as lace, strategic cutouts, and transparencies. These details aim to evoke a sense of nostalgic sophistication while celebrating the strength and elegance of contemporary femininity.

The Casarão Higienópolis, where the campaign was shot, is an emblematic structure in São Paulo, constructed between 1917 and 1927. Originally commissioned by the Baron of Coffee Leôncio de Magalhães, it retains its grandeur amidst the city’s urban evolution. The location serves as a fitting venue for Carrano’s vision, portraying a narrative that encourages appreciation for both the past and the present.

In addition to her modeling work, Renata Kuerten’s resume includes over 90 magazine covers and a venture into television, where she has utilized her passion for communication and lifestyle. Her multifaceted career not only reinforces her status as a fashion icon but also highlights her diverse skills.

The complete collection is now available for purchase on Carrano’s website, in multibrand stores throughout Brazil, and at their physical location in Shopping Iguatemi in Porto Alegre, signaling a robust launch for the brand this season.
