Former Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Uno emphasizes collaboration and community support at the preloved bazaar aimed at uplifting local businesses and aiding disaster victims.
On March 22, 2025, former Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno attended the “Love Second Change” event, a preloved bazaar featuring items from prominent Indonesian artists. The event, held at Chillax Sudirman in Central Jakarta, aims to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in the country.
In a statement during the event, Sandiaga emphasized the importance of collaboration in creating quality products that are affordable, stating, “Ternyata kalau pendekatannya bergerak bersama, berkolaborasi. Kita bisa membuat produk-produk yang berkualitas dengan harga yang terjangkau dan membuka peluang usaha dan lapangan kerja yang luas.” This sentiment underscores the potential for communal effort to enhance local business opportunities.
Sandiaga took time to explore the various stalls at the Love Second Change bazaar, accompanied by social media influencer Thoriq Halilintar. They observed an array of preloved items from artists and local products that are both high in quality and reasonably priced. “Tadi saya lihat ada (produk) dari Garut, dari Tasikmalaya,” he noted, highlighting the regional offerings available. He further remarked on the significance of their collective commitment to organizing such events, especially given the challenging economic conditions.
Additionally, Sandiaga highlighted the charitable aspect of the bazaar, explaining that the proceeds from the sale of artists’ products would be donated to victims of natural disasters. “Acara Love Second Change ini memberikan kesempatan kita untuk konsumsi produk-produk berkualitas. Namun, kita juga memberikan sumbangsih, kontribusi kepada saudara-saudara kita yang sekarang tertimpa bencana,” he stated, indicating his appreciation for the humanitarian efforts alongside the commercial aspect of the event.
Sandiaga extended an invitation to the public to visit the bazaar, which will continue until March 23, 2025. “Love Second Change ada di Chillax, produk-produknya keren banget. Ayo datang,” he urged, showcasing his enthusiasm for the unique offerings available at the event.
The Love Second Change event not only emphasizes the importance of local products and partnerships but also seeks to engage the community in supporting those affected by recent disasters, reflecting a multi-faceted approach to building economic resilience in Indonesia.
