Sustainable fashion brand Sheep Inc., recognized for its pioneering carbon negative supply chain and high-quality Merino wool apparel, has successfully completed a £5 million Series A funding round. The investment, primarily led by Inside Out LLC, an impact investment holding company founded by environmental advocate Suzy Amis Cameron, aims to propel Sheep Inc.’s mission to significantly transform the fashion industry.

Inside Out LLC’s involvement underscores a collective vision shared by its founders, which also includes notable investors such as former Deloitte partner Blair Knippel and entrepreneur Erik Stangvik. The funding will support the brand in its ambition to set new standards in environmental, social, and technological aspects within the fashion sector.

Edzard van der Wyck, co-founder of Sheep Inc., expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are incredibly excited to partner with Inside Out. Suzy, Erik, and Blair share our vision for redefining the fashion industry – environmentally, socially and technologically.” He emphasized that this collaboration not only facilitates the brand’s growth but also enhances its capacity to establish new benchmarks within the industry.

As a key investment within Inside Out’s Fashion, Textiles, and Home division, Sheep Inc. is positioned to leverage its regenerative supply chain expertise and innovative Connected Dot technology across a wider array of brands within Inside Out’s portfolio. This strategy aims to amplify sustainable practices beyond Sheep Inc. itself.

Suzy Amis Cameron, who serves as CEO of Inside Out LLC, highlighted Sheep Inc.’s role in promoting responsible fashion, stating, “Sheep Inc. stands at the forefront of responsible fashion.
