From May 13 to 15, the Serra Park Events Center in Gramado hosts the SICC International Leather and Footwear Exhibition, featuring a strategic content program with expert talks on trends, technology, and business management alongside showcases of the latest footwear and accessory collections.
From May 13 to 15, the Serra Park Events Center in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, will host the SICC – International Leather and Footwear Exhibition, a key gathering for the national and international footwear sector. This event extends beyond traditional brand showcases and spring/summer collection launches by incorporating a strategic content program designed to strengthen retail, foster innovation, and enhance customer loyalty.
The SICC event features the eMerkator Talks, a series of lectures led by experts from various facets of the footwear industry, including fashion trends, technology, consumer behavior, and business management. The lectures aim to provide practical insights and actionable solutions tailored to the daily operations of stores and brands within the sector.
Roberta Pletsch, director of Merkator Feiras e Eventos, the company organizing the fair, highlighted the importance of this content program, stating, “We are alongside retail, offering content that can point to new paths for business growth in the short and medium term. We are aware that a fair that brings together such an important segment, which generates thousands of jobs both in industry and commerce, cannot be limited to just one end of the commercialization process; it is necessary to offer tools that can inspire exhibitors, retailers, and visitors.” She also noted that each topic for the lectures was carefully selected to maximize value and relevance for participants.
