As spring approaches, fashion editors are highlighting essential pieces that reflect the season’s vibrant aesthetic while incorporating unique elements from emerging Spanish brands. One fashion editor, reflecting on her preferences, shared her top three spring investments that prioritize natural fabrics, oversized cuts, and versatile prints.

The first standout is a printed jacket and midi skirt set from Rita Von, a brand co-founded by four women, all mothers, renowned for their vintage-inspired printed garments. This particular set features a playful spoon print, part of a special collaboration with a young artist from the Prodis Foundation’s Artis Studio, who has intellectual disabilities. The components of the set are a short spoon jacket priced at 84.90 euros, a spoon midi skirt at 79.90 euros, and a blouse with three-quarter sleeves and a wavy collar for 79.90 euros. The editor emphasized the set’s versatility, noting how each piece can be worn separately.

Next on the list are wide checked trousers from Julise Magon, a brand created by designer Julia Manchón. These high-waisted trousers, featuring a tartan print in pink and burgundy, boast front pleats that add movement and style. Priced at 195 euros, these trousers can easily be paired with a graphic white t-shirt or one of the editor’s classic white shirts. A gray and tan version of the trousers is also available, allowing for additional styling options.

The third investment piece is a long floral dress from Maison Hotel, a brand known for its bohemian influences. The editor expressed enthusiasm for their collection, particularly since stylist Gabriela Bilbao, a familiar figure in the fashion world, joined the team. The collection draws inspiration from the golden fields of an Australian farm near Byron Bay and captures the essence of the Flower Power movement. Among the highlighted pieces is the Agustina dress, characterized by its 1970s floral design and priced at 159.95 euros.

This season’s fashion narrative reflects a shift towards thoughtful selections that combine comfort, style, and social consciousness, solidifying a trend of supporting local and artisanal brands in the face of mass-market convenience.
