London: From 18th to 20th February 2025, Stuart Trevor will present his innovative brand STUART TREVOR at Source Fashion, focusing on sustainability through upcycling and waste repurposing, alongside a schedule of catwalk shows and informative discussions on the future of fashion.
From 18th to 20th February 2025, Olympia London will host Source Fashion, Europe’s premier responsible sourcing show, where notable Scottish-born fashion designer Stuart Trevor will be showcasing bespoke designs from his latest brand, STUART TREVOR, on the Source Catwalk. Trevor, who is also known for founding the popular clothing label All Saints, is set to headline this event following a successful career that has shifted towards sustainable fashion.
Trevor’s venture into sustainable design emerged after five years of mentoring start-up brands that prioritise social and environmental impact. His latest initiative, STUART TREVOR, launched in 2023 and has gained significant recognition for its innovative approach to fashion. The brand operates under the philosophy of “What about a clothing brand that doesn’t produce any clothing?” positioning sustainability at the heart of its mission. Trevor aims to create non-destructive clothing by repurposing waste from existing garments into new designs.
In a statement, Trevor expressed the importance of acting on sustainability, stating, “It’s a critical moment for our collective future – we should have done it years ago, but given we can’t turn back the clocks, now is the time to act. There are too many clothes that already exist, and too many clothes still being produced – continuing on this trajectory just doesn’t make sense, for the industry or for the planet.” He highlighted the necessity of utilising the existing clothing stock, asserting, “Creativity to me has always been about doing more with what we have already – which is exactly the basis of STUART TREVOR.”
The Source Catwalk will feature Trevor’s designs alongside the latest womenswear selections from the show floor, allowing attendees to see how to build cohesive looks and ranges. The schedule for the Source Catwalk is as follows:
- Tuesday at 11am, 1pm, and 3.30pm
- Wednesday at 10.30am, 1pm, and 3.30pm
- Thursday at 11am and 1pm
In addition to showcasing his designs, Trevor will participate in a fireside chat on Wednesday, 19th February at 1.30pm, where he will discuss his vision for a clothing company that doesn’t produce new garments. The session aims to elaborate on how upcycling and circularity are integral to sustainable fashion, demonstrating that it is possible to integrate sustainable practices into business models without compromising style or quality. The discussions aim to promote a re-evaluation of the traditional fashion industry model while presenting a viable alternative to fast fashion.
As the event approaches, Trevor’s participation in Source Fashion promises to offer attendees valuable insights into the future of sustainable fashion and the potential of utilising circularity in the clothing industry.
