Stylebook, a wardrobe organization app, introduces significant updates with AI tools to enhance user experience and promote sustainable clothing management.

Stylebook, a fashion app designed to help users organize their wardrobes, has introduced significant updates aimed at improving user experience and accessibility. Co-founder Jess Atkins highlighted the need for enhancements, stating, “It was clear that users wanted a faster and easier way to add items to the closet.”

Launched in 2009 as a simple inventory tool, Stylebook has evolved over the past 15 years into a more comprehensive closet management system that includes features such as outfit collaging, closet inventory, and wearing statistics. The app encourages users to make more intentional clothing purchases and reduces waste by helping individuals track their wardrobe usage.

Recent updates, now available in Stylebook 10, include AI-powered tools that enhance usability. For example, an AI background removal feature streamlines the process of adding clothing items. The app now utilizes Apple Intelligence to generate clothing images from user-generated descriptions, allowing for quicker inventory management. Additionally, users can now import images directly from various sources, such as Google Lens or email receipts, which significantly reduces the time needed to update their wardrobe.

Another welcomed feature is the automatic sync support between iPhone and iPad, enabling users to access their closets while on the go and benefit from a larger screen.

With over 120 features now available, Stylebook continues to adapt to the needs of its user base, a commitment that has been consistent since its inception. The app plays an important role in modern clothing management, especially as consumers become increasingly conscious of fashion waste and spending habits.
