Actresses Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried showcase their fashion choices and discuss their upcoming film ‘The Housemaid’ at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried made a notable appearance at CinemaCon, which took place in Las Vegas, where they showcased not only their upcoming film but also their fashion choices that captured attention. The actresses, along with co-star Brandon Sklenar and director Paul Feig, participated in a panel discussing their new movie, The Housemaid, set to be released on December 25, 2025.

Sweeney, known for her role in Euphoria, wore a striking silver corset dress that caught the eye as she walked the CinemaCon carpet. Her outfit was styled by Molly Dickson and is part of Wiederhoeft’s Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. Seyfried, on the other hand, brought nostalgia to the forefront with her ensemble. The actress sported a chic plaid mini-skirt paired with a semi-sheer white collared button-up shirt adorned with floral details, a look reminiscent of her character Karen from Mean Girls. The outfit, from Ashish’s fall 2024 collection, was completed with black pumps that added a touch of elegance.

During their panel discussion, the cast unveiled the first footage of The Housemaid, a film based on Freida McFadden’s popular 2022 novel that explores complex character dynamics. Seyfried plays the role of Nina, while Sklenar portrays her husband Andrew. Sweeney takes on the role of Millie, who is hired as a live-in housemaid for the couple. Seyfried shared insights about her character’s journey in the film, mentioning it took her to places she would have never imagined and instilling a sense of liberation in her performance.

Sweeney expressed her enthusiasm for the source material, recalling how she found it hard to put down McFadden’s book, stating that she read all three books in just a week. She mentioned her appreciation for the characters, saying, “I love when there’s unexpected turns. They’re fucked up, flawed and messy but you also love them at the same time… you start to question your own morals.” Seyfried further teased the film’s content, hinting at its unconventional elements by describing it as having “wacky shit” and being “something special.”

The anticipation surrounding The Housemaid is expected to grow as the cast continues its promotional efforts leading up to its Christmas Day release, where both their performances and fashion choices remain a topic of interest among fans and audiences alike.
