Berlin: Sydney Sweeney turned heads in a stunning white silk gown at the 75th Berlinale International Film Festival. Her appearance coincides with the commencement of production for Season 3 of HBO’s ‘Euphoria’, with a premiere anticipated in 2026.

Sydney Sweeney made a striking appearance on the red carpet at the 75th Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany, on Saturday. The 27-year-old actress attended the high-profile Armani Beauty In the Spotlight party, showcasing her fashion sense in an elegant white silk gown that featured a tasteful fold over the neckline, accentuating her figure.

Sweeney’s glamorous look was complemented by her long golden hair styled in classic Hollywood waves. The actress also sported a full-glam makeup look, which highlighted her radiant complexion. To complete her ensemble, she adorned herself with silver leaf rings, further elevating her sophisticated appearance.

Alongside Sweeney, other notable attendees at the event included stars such as Yixin Chen, Madisin Rian, Nathalie Emmanuel, Laurence Rupp, Luise von Finckh, Lorena Rae, and Tim Schaecker.

Sweeney’s appearance comes at an exciting time, as production for Season 3 of the popular HBO series “Euphoria” has recently commenced following a three-year hiatus. Fans can anticipate the premiere of new episodes in 2026. Sweeney is set to reprise her role as Cassie Howard, alongside lead cast members including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, and Jacob Elordi. Other returning actors include Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow, while newcomers to the cast include Grammy-winning artist Rosalía, Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch, and Kadeem Hardison from “A Different World.

The series has garnered acclaim from both fans and critics since its debut in 2019, and the continuation of the show has been well-received. Sweeney expressed her enthusiasm for returning to the role of Cassie Howard, stating, “I’m very excited to jump back into Cassie. She is definitely one of the most special characters for me and I love my Euphoria family, so I look forward to it,” speaking to People.

Additionally, she acknowledged the complexity and darker aspects of her character, adding, “I love crazy Cassie, so the crazier, the better for me.” Yet, while she has experienced considerable success and recognition in Hollywood, Sweeney mentioned that she is still adjusting to the demands of fame. Commenting on her approach to being in the public eye, she remarked, “I think I’m still navigating it on a daily basis because I want to be as authentic and genuinely open to the public and my fans as possible.”

As for the show’s plot, Zendaya, who is also an executive producer, shed light on the direction of the upcoming season. “It’s important because there’s only so much high school drama you can deal with, and then she cheats on her boyfriend again!” she explained, indicating a narrative shift as characters move beyond their high school experiences. A time jump is planned for the new season, although detailed storylines remain largely undisclosed.

Season 3 of Euphoria is projected to hit screens in 2026, marking a four-year interval since the release of its last season. The anticipation surrounding the series continues to grow, promising to deliver engaging narratives alongside its ensemble cast.
