Celebrating the spirit of the 1970s, Twinset’s latest collection features vintage-inspired knitwear and contemporary designs that emphasize freedom and self-expression.

In a celebration of bohemian elegance infused with rock-and-roll spirit, Twinset unveiled its Fall Winter 2025-2026 collection at Milan’s ornate Palazzo Litta. The event, held in a remarkable setting, showcased a collection inspired by iconic figures of the 1970s, such as Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg, blending vintage influences with modern sensibilities.

The collection prominently featured Twinset’s hallmark knitwear, which was reimagined with artisanal grace. Among the standout pieces were intricately crocheted minidresses that incorporated faux-feather accents and ribbed, calf-length knit dresses with boat necklines that provided a sleek silhouette. Argyle knit sets comprising shrunken tops paired with briefs, as well as delicate crochet bibs adorning form-fitting pieces, presented a dynamic mix of nostalgic charm and contemporary appeal.

Layered silk slip dresses inspired by lingerie displayed lace trimmings while being paired with fuzzy, mop-shouldered cardigans that conveyed a relaxed, “morning-after” aesthetic. Additionally, a burgundy chiffon dress with ruffles and bell sleeves showcased a romantic style suitable for festivals. The collection also boasted velvet dévoré gowns, adorned with moody floral and paisley prints, offering a dramatic take on formal wear that maintains a rebellious edge. Creating a contrast, strong-shouldered topcoats and army-inspired boleros paid homage to ‘80s power-dressing trends, while tapestry-print ensembles with HotPants catered to a youthful audience captivated by vintage influences.

As the classic rock anthem “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin resonated throughout the venue, the underlying themes of freedom, femininity, and fearless self-expression became apparent. Speaking to OTS MAGAZINE, Twinset’s CEO, Alessandro Varisco, articulated the brand’s ethos, describing it as an “alternative to luxury,” which focuses on providing high-impact fashion at a more accessible price point. This season, Twinset solidified its stance that genuine style transcends extravagance—it is deeply rooted in attitude and authenticity.
