London: Renowned designer Vera Wang made headlines at the BAFTA 2025 ceremony, showcasing a bold outfit on the red carpet. The prestigious event saw films like ‘Conclave’ and ‘Brutalist’ take home multiple awards, alongside special recognitions for industry talents like Warwick Davis.
At the BAFTA 2025 ceremony held at the Royal Festival Hall in London, renowned American designer Vera Wang made a striking appearance on the red carpet. The 75-year-old, known for her iconic wedding dresses, showcased a slim silhouette in a bold and contrasting outfit. Initially, Wang draped a black leather jacket over her shoulders, which she later removed, revealing a striking strapless dress with deep cutouts and a flowing silk white maxi skirt.
Accompanying the outfit, Wang also wore heels and accessorised minimally, choosing not to don significant jewellery. She completed her look with a pair of black sunglasses and sported a short haircut, presenting a modern and stylish image as she posed for photographers. Recognising the achievements within the film industry, the BAFTA 2025 ceremony presented a variety of awards across numerous categories. The standout film of the evening was “Conclave,” which took home the awards for Best Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Editing. Additionally, “Brutalist” achieved success, winning in categories such as Best Director for Brady Corbet, Best Actor for Adrien Brody, Best Cinematography, and Best Soundtrack.
The award for Best Original Screenplay was presented to “Real Pain,” while “Anora” received accolades for Best Actress, Mikey Madison, and Best Ensemble. Awards were also given to “Dune 2” for its achievements in Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. Animated feature “Wallace & Gromit: The Revenge of the Birds” received awards for both Best Animated Film and Best Children’s and Family Film.
A special mention during the evening was made for “Emilia Perez,” which won for Best Film in a Foreign Language. The BAFTA for Outstanding Contribution to Film was awarded to Warwick Davis, highlighting his extensive and celebrated career in the industry.
