How to tell if Givenchy is vintage from the logo

The Givenchy logo is a fashion icon and a symbol of one of the most successful French fashion brands in the world. With a history dating back to the brand’s founding, the current logo has been updated for a modern look by designer Paul Barnes in 2003. The simple yet striking design, featuring a wordmark and quadruple G graphic, is the work of art created by Pierre Dinand. How to tell if Givenchy is vintage from the neck tags

Matthew Williams is set to debut his first live runway show as Givenchy’s creative director with the Spring/Summer 2022 collection. The collection will showcase new footwear designs, including a unique take on sneakers with sole-less knit designs. Givenchy has also announced a collaboration with the Walt Disney Company to create a special capsule collection in celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary. When it comes to identifying authentic Givenchy clothing, one key detail to look out for is the wash tag. Typically, luxury branded items that feature large polyester rectangular wash tags located at the hip are more recently produced and can be dated to the late 2000s or later.
