Hanes launches a new capsule collection with Urban Outfitters, featuring a blend of vintage-inspired designs and modern styles across 28 pieces for men and women.
Hanes, a leading name in basic apparel with nearly 125 years of history, has announced a new collaboration with lifestyle retailer Urban Outfitters. The Hanes Heritage x Urban Outfitters capsule collection consists of 28 pieces targeted at both men and women, reflecting a blend of nostalgic design and modern fashion sensibilities.
The collection updates classic items such as boxer briefs, ribbed tanks, and crew socks, presenting them with contemporary twists inspired by Hanes’ extensive archival materials. Key features include oversized Beefy-Ts®, cropped sweatshirts, and boxers adorned with retro Hanes logo waistbands, which evoke a sense of vintage Americana.
“This collaboration with Urban Outfitters gives Hanes a new platform to showcase our brand as one of America’s most iconic labels,” said Jane Newman, Chief Design Officer of HanesBrands, in comments to Business Wire. She emphasized the joy of exploring Hanes’ history to create a youthful, vintage-inspired collection that still represents the brand’s longstanding appeal.
The pieces in this collection retain the comfort and quality that Hanes is known for, with soft cotton materials and some styles designed for tagless comfort. As more consumers seek classic yet stylish basics, this collection aims to meet the demand for comfortable clothing that allows for personal expression while remaining practical.
Marybeth Cahill, Chief Merchandising Officer at Urban Outfitters, commented on the partnership, stating, “At UO, we are committed to offering our customers an assortment that both meets their needs but also creates a sense of discovery.” She expressed excitement about how the collection uniquely intertwines nostalgia with versatile, modern styles.
The Hanes Heritage x Urban Outfitters collection will be available exclusively through Urban Outfitters, with prices ranging from $10 to $45. A selection can be found in more than 50 Urban Outfitters locations across the U.S. as well as online, while supplies last.
